MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) - The heads of government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries will arrive in Pakistan for the 23rd meeting of the SCO Heads of Government Council, TASS reports.
According to Geo TV channel, this year Pakistan is expecting heads of government or senior officials of all member countries of the organization, excluding India. New Delhi's position will be presented by Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. The SCO Heads of Government Council is set to discuss ongoing cooperation in trade, environment and social-cultural ties and to review the organization’s performance.
Belarus will be represented by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.
The arrival of delegations is expected on 15 October. The main events are scheduled for 16 October.
