MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – There is no unity in the European Union any more, Oleg Gaidukevich, a member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus, told the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.

“Who needs a strong Europe? America? It does not. Did the Europeans need the invasion into Iraq and Libya? No way! They got nothing, while millions of migrants flooded Europe. As soon as the situation with migrants in Europe started to get better (though Europeans will need decades to ‘digest' all these migrants), they got Ukraine. And what happened next? Millions of migrants coupled with the deterioration of the economic situation,” Oleg Gaidukevich said.

According to him, Washington has only one goal - to split the EU. “And they are succeeding so far. The EU is split. Today there is no unity in the European Union, and things will got even worse each month because of these sanctions and confrontation with Russia and Belarus,” the MP noted.
