MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement concerning the situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, BelTA has learned.
“The Republic of Belarus is closely monitoring the developments in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the statement reads. “We are convinced that the government of Iran and the Iranian people are capable of overcoming the existing difficulties and preserving stability in the country.”
“Guided by the fundamental principles of the UN Charter, Belarus firmly opposes any form of interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
