
MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Consul General of Belarus in Istanbul Yevgenia Bortkevich met with Head of the Istanbul Representation Office of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ayşe Sözen Usluer on 9 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The talks focused on current issues of bilateral cooperation development and explored promising areas for regional cooperation. Special attention was paid to protecting the rights and interests of Belarusian citizens residing in Istanbul.
Belarus’ consul general expressed gratitude to the Turkish side for the fruitful dialogue and the traditionally high level of cooperation.
The representative of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in turn, confirmed readiness for further constructive interaction and the joint implementation of bilateral projects.
