MINSK, 30 June (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia will enhance coordination in foreign policy, runs a joint statement signed by Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The two foreign ministers signed the document after the talks in Minsk on 30 June, BelTA has learned.
According to the statement, Belarus and Russia speak with one voice in the international arena, relying on universally recognized norms and principles of international law, which allows for peaceful coexistence and pragmatic cooperation between states based on a balance of interests of all members of the international community.
