
MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov and Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili held talks in New York to discuss ways to further step up cooperation between the two countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed interaction in trade, economy, humanitarian affairs, culture and other areas.
“The parties stressed their interest in equal, respectful and mutually beneficial partnership for the benefit of the two countries. They discussed a number of issues on the international agenda and focused on countering modern challenges and threats,” the press service said.
Maxim Ryzhenkov wished the Georgian side success in the upcoming Georgian local elections.
