MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) - State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Zhang Wenchuan on 26 August, BelTA has learned.
The parties discussed current issues of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in various fields, as well as the prospective agenda for interaction in international and regional security. The parties confirmed their commitment to the course of strategic partnership, strengthening contacts, and developing joint projects in all areas of cooperation, including defense and law enforcement.
Aleksandr Volfovich wished Zhang Wenchuan success in his role as head of China's diplomatic mission in Belarus in developing the strategic partnership between the two states and in promoting mutually beneficial Belarusian-Chinese dialogue.
