MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Sekreta held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Zhang Wenchuan on 13 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The deputy minister informed the diplomat about preparations for the 3rd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security scheduled for 28-29 October. The meeting also featured a meaningful exchange of views on current issues on the international agenda.
The parties noted the similarity of approaches of Belarus and China to conflict resolution and responding to current challenges and threats. They also reaffirmed the consistently high level of cooperation and mutual support between Minsk and Beijing within the framework of their strategic partnership.
