Belarus attends international security meeting in Ufa

MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Stanislav Zas is taking part in the 10th International Meeting of High-Level Representatives on Security Issues which kicked off in Ufa on 18 June, BelTA learned from the State Secretariat of the Security Council.

The plenary meeting will focus on national security and sustainable social and economic development amid the increasing hybrid threats, and also international cooperation in emergency humanitarian response. Roundtables sessions will highlight international information security and ways to combat the promulgation of terrorism ideology.

The head of the Belarusian delegation is set to hold a number of bilateral meetings with heads of the delegations of other countries to talk over global and regional security.

The international meeting will last through 20 June.
