SHANGHAI, 18 March (BelTA - China Daily) - Shanghai Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2026 will commence on March 25.
The event promises a fashion experience with innovative presentations at iconic venues.
The opening show, presented by local brand HPLY, is centered around "fairy tales for grown-ups", featuring unique silhouettes and luxurious fabrics. The closing show by EP Yaying will highlight contemporary oriental aesthetics. From March 25, EP Yaying will also unveil its new collection at the MODE trade show to global buyers.
As a grand finale, Maison Margiela will host the global debut of its AW 2026 collection on April 1, followed by a special exhibition from April 2 to 6. According to organizers, the exhibition will blend the brand's timeless classics with avant-garde designs, celebrating its craftsmanship and artistic heritage.
"Shanghai, as a cosmopolitan hub, epitomizes the fusion of Eastern and Western creativity," said a Maison Margiela spokesperson.
