MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) - Belarus continues to experience strong wage growth, reads the macroeconomic review by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), BelTA has learned.
Real wages rose by 7% in October 2025 year-on-year, following an 8.6% increase in September. The public sector continues to experience a higher growth rate: 9.8% in October after 10.8% in September, which was supported by an increase in the base wage rate.
"Sustained wage growth will continue to support domestic demand,” EDB analysts said.
