MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Belarus is maintaining steady growth in real wages, BelTA reports citing the macroeconomic review of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).

“Belarus continues to see steady growth in real wages. In February 2026, they increased by 6.5% year-on-year, following a 6.3% rise in January. The public sector continues to show faster growth, with wages there increasing by 9.6%, surpassing the economy-wide average,” analysts said.

Wage growth is supporting an increase in household disposable income (up by 7.5% in January 2026), which is creating conditions for a further uptake in consumer activity, the EDB noted.
