MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Self-employed businessmen will be able to become legal persons within 24 hours according to a new bill on entrepreneurship development, BelTA learned from Belarusian Economy Minister Aleksandr Chervyakov.
Aleksandr Chervyakov said: “We would like businesses to develop and grow larger. With an option to transition from one category to a better organized one. Creating more enterprises is the government's job. One of the suggested stimuli is transition from self-employed businessmen to legal persons.”
The official said that if a self-employed businessperson wants to become a legal person, the process takes about half a year now. “We've suggested a system that can complete business reregistration within one day,” Aleksandr Chervyakov remarked. “All the obligations to creditors, banks, other natural or legal persons will be transferred. The system for reregistering licenses and resolutions has been greatly simplified.”
