Belarusian manufacturers to take part in Korea Import Fair

MINSK, 13 March (BelTA) – Belarus is putting together a collective exposition Made in Belarus for Korea Import Fair 2024 which will be held in Seoul from 4 to 6 July 2024, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition operator at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
Korea Import Fair 2024 is the optimal B2B exhibition where promising foreign companies seeking entry into the Korean market meet with domestic importers and distributors, with the participation of over 50 foreign embassies in Korea. In 2017, this country became the eleventh trading partner with which Belarus completed bilateral negotiations on market access for goods and services within the framework of Belarus' accession to the World Trade Organization. In 2021, a protocol was signed to set up the Belarusian-Korean Business Cooperation Council.

The Belinterexpo national exhibition operator of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is accepting applications from domestic manufacturers for the Made in Belarus exposition.

Korea Import Fair 2024 is supported by the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). The diversified exhibition displays food and beverages, cosmetics, children's items, jewelry and accessories, sports and leisure goods, electrical and electronic appliances, daily necessities, trade and travel services. 

Korea Import Fair 2024 runs an extensive business program, including seminars, B2B meetings, and dialogue business platforms. 

The participation of Belarusian companies in the exhibition will contribute to the growth of export and new partnerships, will open the way to the sustainable development of domestic business in the market of South Korea and the region as a whole, Belinterexpo noted.
