Belarusian Light Industry Association to cooperate with Russia's Soyuzlegprom

MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) - The Belarusian Light Industry Association and the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry (Soyuzlegprom) have signed a memorandum of cooperation during the international exhibition of fabrics and textile materials Interfabric 2021. Autumn, which is underway in Moscow, BelTA learned from Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom.

The opening ceremony was attended by Bellegprom head Tatiana Lugina along with representatives of a number of Russian governmental agencies. “We were able to meet with a wide range of partners to discuss the prospects of cooperation, a new angle of relations in a post-pandemic world. We are pleased to invite our couterparts to participate in our 45th international exhibition BelTexIndustry 2021 which is due in Minsk on 6-8 October,” the Bellegprom head said.

An important document - a memorandum of cooperation between the Belarusian Light Industry Association and the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry – was signed during the event. The heads of the associations expressed their hope for successful cooperation and development of relations between the two countries in the light industry as explained in the agreement.

The anniversary season of the Interfabric 2021. Autumn exhibition is held as part of the forum “Textile and Light Industry Development in Russia: Regional Experience”. Special salons - TEXTILE&HOME and Factory Outsource Week - are available for visitors.
