GOMEL, 19 December (BelTA) – In the next five-year period the Belarusian agricultural machinery manufacturer Gomselmash will advance only forward by improving its machines and vehicles, by introducing innovations, and by reinforcing its export positions. Director General of OAO Gomselmash Vitaly Sheleg presented these goals as he took part in a session of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress on 19 December, BelTA has learned.
Vitaly Sheleg noted that Belarus intends to accomplish ambitious goals within the next five years. “We are witnessing a historic moment that determines the course towards successful development of Belarus’ future. In his address [to the nation and the parliament] the president drew attention to sovereignty, independence, and security. He also clearly identified economy as the key factor of the country’s future development and emphasized its stability,” the Gomselmash director general pointed out.
Speaking about the key goals the agricultural machinery manufacturer intends to accomplish within the next five-years, Vitaly Sheleg said he was confident that Gomselmash would advance only forward. “To improve our machines and vehicles, to introduce innovations, and reinforce export positions. Without a doubt the quality of the harvesters will get better and will reach new standards. It will open up additional opportunities for our agrarians, will increase the efficiency of the farming industry and will bolster the reputation of Belarusian machines and vehicles as reliable and modern products on the world market,” the CEO is convinced.
The second session of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress is taking place in Minsk. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made an address to the nation and the parliament on the first day of the session. Participants of the session are expected to adopt the program on Belarus’ social and economic development in 2026-2030 on the second day.
