MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) - Belarusian steel maker BMZ posted increased revenue and output in January-October 2024, Sergei Terletsky, BMZ Deputy Director General for Technology and Quality commented on the performance of the enterprise, BelTA learned from the enterprise’s press service.
In his words, the wages at the enterprise keep growing, while the revenue and output showed a 12% increase compared with the same stretch a year ago.
“Due to market conditions, exports have slightly decreased (seasonal factor), but at the same time they are more than 100% of last year's level,” the deputy director general pointed out. “Our task is to work actively, to increase productivity and product quality.”
According to Sergei Terletsky, the plant continues to operate stably, search for new customers, especially for metalware production, which has suffered the most from the restrictions. At the same time, metalware production has also demonstrated an increase from the level of the previous year. “The enterprise ensures systematic work in this area,” the deputy director general said.
