MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) - The exhibition unitary enterprise Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is preparing a large-scale exposition to present Belarusian enterprises and companies at the 7th China International Import Expo which is due to take place in Shanghai on 5-10 November 2024, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo.

The Belarusian national exposition will be showcased in the thematic pavilions Food and Agricultural Products and High-Tech Equipment and Information Technologies.

“The Belarusian stand will continue the acquaintance of the exhibition visitors with the famous social and cultural artifacts of our country and will have an image of Belovezhskaya Pushcha, reflecting its iconic objects of flora and fauna, emphasizing the uniqueness of the natural park taking into account the global environmental agenda and the Year of Quality declared by the president of the Republic of Belarus in 2024. Belarus and China have a long-standing reliable partnership in a wide range of areas. Active trade in goods and services, expansion of investment interaction and cooperation in various industries and areas of activity contribute to the strengthening of economic ties and mutual development. Measures to increase the presence of Belarusian exporters of goods and services in the Chinese market are carried out on a systematic basis, including within the framework of agreements made at the highest level,” the Belinterexpo representatives emphasized.

Participation of Belarusian enterprises in the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will strengthen interaction with partners in the Chinese market and the region as a whole, enhance the development of multi-level cooperation between Belarus and China, and ensure effective implementation of projects in the areas of economy and trade, investment, tourism, and culture.

The China International Import Expo (CIIE) has been held annually since 2018 and is one of the largest multi-sectoral exhibition events in China. In 2023, more than 3,400 companies from 154 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, and the number of professional visitors exceeded 350,000 people. The amount of contracts concluded at the exhibition amounted to $78.4 billion.

Taking into account the high demand for exhibition space and the deadlines set by the Chinese side to confirm their booking, the exhibition unitary enterprise Belinterexpo accepts applications for participation in the national exposition until 15 June 2024.
