MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko talked about what will happen to the import of goods from Lithuania on the air of the TV channel Belarus One, BelTA has learned.
Roman Golovchenko said: “A lot of spare parts and second-hand clothes are imported from Lithuania. Lithuania earns money by selling these goods. We will simply stop importing these categories. Where will they sell these goods then?”
The prime minister noted Belarus is not interested in such an approach. “If we are forced to respond further, we will have the tools we will use but we don't want that. Belarus is interested in a policy of good neighborhood and pragmatic cooperation with Lithuania,” he stressed.
