Lukashenko delivers an annual address to the nation and the parliament

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko delivered an annual address to the nation and the parliament in the Palace of the Republic on 28 January. The address began at 11:00 and was broadcast live on television and radio. Over 2,500 people attended the event, including members of the parliament, delegations from all parts of the country, representatives of the central government, heads of various government agencies, diplomats, representatives of international organizations, religious leaders, workers of the real sector of the economy, young Belarusians, journalists, and bloggers.
