MINSK, 5 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian military will conduct an inspection tour to Ukraine on 5-8 July, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
The inspection tour will take place in line with the agreement between the Government of Belarus and the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers on additional confidence- and security-building measures. The inspection group of Belarus will also visit one of the military units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The goal of the inspection is to confirm the information on no large military activities subject to prior notification in line with the provisions of the bilateral agreement, and also assess the data Ukraine provides to the OSCE member states within the Vienna Document 2011 in respect to military forces, major weapon and equipment systems of the military unit.
