Lukashenko: Japan's technological, economic experience will be useful for Belarus

MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – Japan's technological and economic experience will be useful for Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko said when receiving credentials of Ambassador of Japan to Belarus Toyohisa Kozuki on 6 June, BelTA has learned.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus is interested in developing the dialogue with Japan. “First of all, the colossal technological and economic experience which was accumulated by Japan when the country reached global leadership in a number of fields will be useful for Belarus,” the President is convinced.

The Belarusian leader believes that the countries should learn more about each other, including in business and politics.

Ambassador Toyohisa Kozuki, in turn, said that Japan wants to promote political and economic relations with Belarus. The Asian country is interested in Belarus' experience of mitigating the Chernobyl impact. The diplomat also mentioned a big contribution of Belarus to the regulation of the crisis in Ukraine and the conclusion of the Minsk agreement on Ukraine.
