MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarus may host talks in connection with the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Grigory Rapota said during the award ceremony of the young writers' competition Bridge of Friendship on 27 November, BelTA has learned.
“Belarus has already hosted the talks between Russia, Ukraine, and Western Europe. No doubt, this is a significant contribution. This means that Belarus may provide a convenient platform for any kinds of peace dialogues, including for talks over the situation in the Middle East,” Grigory Rapota noted.
