Guests from 55 countries invited to All-Belarusian People's Congress

MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited more than 100 guests from 55 countries to take part in the Fifth All-Belarusian People's Congress, Spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told reporters, BelTA informs.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited more than 100 guests from 55 countries to take part in the Fifth All-Belarusian People's Congress which will be held on 22-23 June. In particular, the guests of honor at the forum will be second president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota, head of the Communist Parry faction in Russia's State Duma Gennady Zyuganov,” he said. The event will be also attended by head of the Federal National and Cultural Autonomy of Belarusians in Russia Sergey Kandybovich, space pilots and two-time Heroes of the Soviet Union Vladimir Kovalenok and Piotr Klimuk.

Dmitry Mironchik explained that other guests include representatives of the Belarusian communities abroad, a number of famous politicians and public activists, representatives of international organizations and integration associations, heads of foreign diplomatic missions. A number of guests will deliver speeches in front of the delegates at the All-Belarusian People's Congress, Dmitry Mironchik stressed.
