VITEBSK, 18 April (BelTA) – The 12th International Economic Forum and the 13th National Universal Exhibition-Fair Orsha Traditions will be held in Orsha on 24-27 April, BelTA learned from the Orsha District Executive Committee.
“Sister cities from Russia and China will take part in the economic forum both in person and online. One of the main topics of the forum will be digitalization, so our partners will share their best practices in introducing digital technologies in economy, medicine, education, tourism and other areas. Now a delegation of Orsha Gymnasium No. 2 that consists of teachers and students, is in the Chinese sister city of Qingdao. There they attend an experimental school where they exchange expertise and knowledge in arranging the training and educational process. During the economic forum, the Orsha delegation will also join in online to share their impressions,” said Igor Kosovsky, Director of the Orsha office of the Vitebsk Oblast branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Participants of the economic forum will discuss the topic “Investment, innovation and international cooperation”, as well as various aspects of companies’ operations. Specialists from various sectors of the economy will make presentations. Enterprises and organizations interested in cooperation with potential partners will showcase their products and economic potential. Industrial enterprises will be represented at the PromAgro exhibition.
Young people will be offered interactive events: the training session “Business Idea Generation” and a business game. Traditionally, job fairs will be held for schoolchildren and students. The forum will also be of interest to sports enthusiasts of all generations. They will be able to try both traditional and new sports, including digital ones, for example, e-sports.
Igor Kosovsky said that more than 50 exhibitors will showcase their goods at the 13th National Universal Exhibition-Fair Orsha Traditions. By tradition, a larger block will be allocated to Orsha companies that produce food,clothing and other high-quality products that are already familiar to consumers.
