MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – State support will be granted to Belarusian enterprises only if they put efforts into reducing costs and optimizing expenses. First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vasily Matyushevsky made the statement during the joint session of the two chambers of the parliament on 27 May, BelTA has learned.
Comprehensive efforts to reduce the prime cost of merchandise are mandatory, said Vasily Matyushevsky. “Debts can be restructured or state support can be granted only if the enterprise puts efforts into reducing costs and optimizing expenses,” said the official.
In his words, the government works to improve the financial stability of corporations. The so-called creditors club now works. Members of the club and representatives of Belarusian banks get together to look into problems in the operation of strategic enterprises for the sake of preventing an increase in problematic corporate debts. “Monthly monetary flows of every enterprise are analyzed and rebalanced by reducing costs and restructuring loans,” assured the First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus.
