Peer review of Belarusian nuclear power plant stress tests in focus in BelTA press center on 10 July

MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – A briefing will begin in BelTA's press center at 11:00 on 10 July to discuss results of the peer review of the stress tests of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.

The European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group (ENSREG) endorsed the report on results of the peer review of the Belarusian nuclear power plant's stress tests in early July. Representatives of the European Commission noted that the peer review had proceeded in an atmosphere of cooperation and had fully met European Union stress test specifications, including transparency requirements.

Peer review details will be revealed in BelTA's press center by Head of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Department of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry (Gosatomnadzor) Olga Lugovskaya, Head of the Gosatomnadzor Communications and Public Information Department Oleg Sobolev, and Head of Gosatomnadzor's Department for Scientific and Technical Support for Regulatory Activities Yulianna Kryuk.
