Mozyr Oil Refinery to get Azerbaijani oil soon

MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – An oil tanker carrying Azerbaijani oil for Belarus was unloaded in the port of Odessa, Ukraine, the port's press service told BelTA.

A tanker with 84,700 tonnes of Azerbaijani oil intended for the Belarusian company Mozyr Oil Refinery was unloaded in the Odessa port. The cargo had been delivered from the Supsa port, Georgia.

The press service of the Belarusian petrochemical concern Belneftekhim confirmed that Mozyr Oil Refinery will get a batch of Azerbaijani oil soon. “A batch of Azerbaijani oil to be processed by Mozyr Oil Refinery was indeed unloaded in the Odessa port. The oil refinery is capable of processing various grades of oil,” stated the source.

The Belneftekhim press service noted that Belarus is working on various ways of getting more oil since Belarusian oil refineries are not getting enough oil from Russia.

BelTA reported earlier that in Q3 2016 Russian oil deliveries to Belarus dropped by 2.25 million tonnes.
