MOGILEV, 23 May (BelTA) - Moscow would like to use the services of Belarusian construction companies as it implements the projects to build social facilities and infrastructure objects, Sergei Cheremin, a minister of the Moscow government, the head of the foreign economic and international relations department of the city of Moscow, told a press briefing following the meeting of the working group for cooperation between Moscow and Belarus, BelTA has learned.
“Belarusian specialists are taking part in the most important project, namely the construction of the Moscow metro. A new metro station, Minskaya, has been inaugurated recently. Minsk specialists built the foyers and tunnels. Therefore, we hope that our cooperation has reached a qualitatively new stage,” Sergei Cheremin said.
He believes that Belarusian builders will take an interest in other projects to build infrastructure objects and social facilities - freight hubs, kindergartens, hospitals, and schools. “Moscow continues to grow, especially in the south direction. The amount of work is huge. Therefore,the services of Belarusian designers, architects and construction companies will be in demand in Moscow,” Sergei Cheremin noted.
