Makei meets with Chief Executive Officer of Pure Energy Intelligence

MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Prospects for developing renewable energy in Belarus were discussed at a meeting between Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Chief Executive Officer of Pure Energy Intelligence Torsten Merkel, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the terms and volumes of FDI intended for the renewable energy projects implemented with the participation of Pure Energy.

The investor is implementing a number of renewable energy projects in Belarus, including the construction of a 109MW photovoltaic power plant in Cherikov District, Mogilev Oblast. The investment in the project makes up nearly €100 million. Torsten Merkel briefed Vladimir Makei on the implementation of the project.
