MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) - Belarus' Permanent Representative in the EU, Belarus' Ambassador to Belgium Alexander Mikhnevich met with Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn on 22 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current relations between Belarus and the European Union, cooperation prospects in a number of areas in both bilateral and multilateral formats. The parties considered the ways to attract investment of international financial institutions in Belarusian projects, the preparations for the next Belarus-EU investment forum which is due to take place in Luxembourg in October, and also the Eastern Partnership's November summit in Brussels.
