Kiev to host Belarusian-Ukrainian business forum on 20-21 July

MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – A Belarusian-Ukrainian business forum will take place in Kiev on 20-21 July, representatives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry told BelTA.

“We invite representatives of Belarusian companies and organizations to take part in a business visit to Kiev. A Belarusian-Ukrainian business forum and a session of the Belarusian-Ukrainian advisory board for business cooperation are supposed to take place as part of the visit,” said the source.

Topical aspects of cooperation between business circles of the two countries will be discussed during the business forum. Belarusian participants will be able to hold negotiations with representatives of Ukrainian companies, which are interested in advancing cooperation in mechanical engineering and industrial manufacturing, agriculture, petrochemical industry, power engineering and electric technology, civil engineering and infrastructure development, transport, tourism, pharmaceutics, medical services, light industry, woodworking, information technologies, financial services, trade, and other areas. Besides, members of the Belarusian delegation and representatives of the Ukrainian private sector are expected to sign bilateral contracts.

The session of the advisory board is expected to focus on promising avenues for advancing Belarusian-Ukrainian trade and economic cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and Ukraine's interaction with the European Union. Problems of doing business will be discussed. Opinions and the experience of implementing joint projects will be exchanged.
