Experts from six countries to attend economic forum in Grodno

GRODNO, 25 May (BelTA) - Economists from six countries will present their research at the international conference “Problems of modern economics: global, national and regional context” in Grodno on 26-27 May, BelTA learned from the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.

The economics and management department of the university will host scientists, economists, representatives of business communities and authorities. Among the participants of the forum there will be delegates from Belarus, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, leading experts in the field of global, national and regional economy and business, scientists from the universities-partners of the Grodno university in research and academic mobility programs.

The main themes of the forum will be the development prospects for the Belarusian economy in the context of globalization and regionalization, the modern problems of investment and innovation activities of regions and enterprises, monetary and social problems of national and regional economies.

Participants will present the results of their research on possible ways of development of national and regional economies. Concrete proposals for enterprises and organizations will be made during the roundtables,” the organizers of the forum said. A series of speeches will be dedicated to improving the financial and credit mechanisms, accounting and analysis.

During the conference, representatives of the universities, executives of enterprises and organizations, local authorities, business unions will discuss the problems of training specialists in economics in Belarus and abroad, exchange the experiences in assimilating innovative educational technologies.

The economics and management department of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno will host the economic forum for the fifth time.
