Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to meet in Yerevan in October

ASTANA, 14 August (BelTA) – The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will take place in Yerevan in October, Kyrgyzstan Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Astana on 14 August, BelTA has learned.

“The agenda of the meeting was discussed in full,” said the prime minister of Kyrgyzstan. In his words, the next meeting is scheduled for 30 October.

Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev addressed the participants with a proposal to hold the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on 24-25 October. “In a restricted format we discussed and coordinated another date. I turned the attention of my colleagues to a busy working schedule. Before we considered 24-25 October, that is why I asked to consider these dates,” he said.

The date for the meeting will be coordinated later.
