MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – Cooperation in the electric power industry was discussed at a meeting between Belarus' First Deputy Energy Minister Leonid Shenets and Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Igor Nasalyk in Minsk on 6 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Energy Ministry.
“The goal of the event was to discuss cooperation in the electric power industry,” the press service noted.
The delegation of Ukraine featured Director of the Electric Power Complex Department of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry Olga Buslavets, Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in Belarus Valery Dzhigun, representatives of the organizations Ukrenergo, Ukrinterenergo, Ukrtransnaft and other stakeholders, the press service said. Belarus was represented at the meeting by Head of the Department for Foreign Economic Activity and International Cooperation of the Energy Ministry Yuri Mardashkin, Belenergo Director General Yevgeny Voronov, and others.
