Belarus taking part in Tech Industry 2019 in Riga

MINSK, 28 November (BelTA) – A Belarusian national pavilion has opened at Tech Industry 2019, the international trade fair for mechanical engineering, metalworking, automation, electronics, electrical engineering, industrial supplies, tools and innovative technology, in Riga, Latvia, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Belarusian enterprises are participating in the Trade Industry expo for the third time. This year, Belarus is represented by Mogilev Metallurgical Works, the machine-tool factory Krasny Borets, Minsk Bearing Plant, enterprises of the state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, the FEZ Gomel-Raton, and OAO BATE, which is the managing company of the holding company Automotive Components. For the first time the national pavilion features the Education Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences, and the State Science and Technology Committee.

The Belarus-Latvia business forum took place on 28 November as part of the event. The forum was organized with support of the Belarusian Embassy in Latvia and the Society for Promotion of Latvian-Belarusian Economic Relations (Latvia). Belarusian companies demonstrated their latest achievements and solutions in metallurgy, foundry, mechanical engineering, metalworking, construction, and the oil and gas industry.

The Belarusian exposition has been organized by the National Center for Marketing at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in association with the Belarusian Embassy in Latvia.
