Belarus government plans to sign agreement with Russian leasing company

MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Resolution No. 573 of Belarus' Council of Ministers of 1 August endorsed a draft contract between the Belarusian government and the Russian leasing company Delta to rent out Belarus-made goods to customers in Russia as a basis for further talks, BelTA learned from the government's press service.

The Industry Ministry and the Finance Ministry have been authorized to hold talks on the draft contract with the Russian company. The Industry Ministry can also make non-essential amendments and additions to the document, if necessary. The ministry has also been authorized to sign the document if the sides reach agreement within the scope of the approved draft.

BPS-Sberbank has been designated as agent bank and will be entitled to 0.02% of the funds to be paid by Belarus as compensation from the national budget earmarked for these purposes.

The resolution entered into force on 1 August.
