MINSK, 7 March (BelTA) - Belarus' Construction and Architecture Ministry will expand cooperation with Russia and Ukraine, Belarus' Construction and Architecture Minister Anatoly Chernyi told the media on 7 March, BelTA informs.
“There are plans to hold meetings with the governors of Bryansk Oblast and Smolensk Oblast. The meeting with the Kaliningrad Oblast governor is scheduled for next week. Plans are in place to build the Belarusian district in Kaliningrad and supply building materials: cement and road metal. These markets need to be developed and supplies need to be further increased,” said Anatoly Chernyi.
Plans are to increase the supplies of building materials to Ukraine. “A number of meetings were held with companies from Ukraine. The meetings were focused on the pricing policy. We also showed our Ukrainian counterparts our companies, including Keramin, cement plants. They know our capacities and products. We hope that the Ukrainian market will give us a considerable growth in the exports of building materials,” the minister noted.
