Ambassador: Japan's business wants to run projects in Great Stone

MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) – Japanese business people are interested in implementing projects on the territory of the Great Stone park and the Japan-Belarus industrial zone in Mogilev Oblast, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Japan Ruslan Yesin said in an interview to the ONT channel, BelTA has learnt.

The presentation of Belarus' investment potential took place during the first Belarus-Japan Economic Forum that was held in Japan on 9-11 May. The forum was organized by the Healthcare Ministry with the support of the Belarusian Embassy in Japan, the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee, the Belarusian National Agency of Investment and Privatization, and the Japan External Trade Organization.

“The Belarusian delegation has done great work on the regional level. Meetings were held with the Kanagawa Prefecture governor. Participants of the forum toured a number of leading Japanese companies that showed interest in implementing various projects on the territory of our country. In particular, these projects could be implemented on the premises of the Great Stone park and the Japan-Belarus industrial zone that is to be set up in Mogilev Oblast,” Ruslan Yesin said.
