Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko took part in a summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow on 8 October. In a sincere and heartfelt manner he presented a joint address to the nations of the CIS states and to the international community ahead of the 80th anniversary of the Soviet nation’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The address was on the agenda of the extended-participation meeting of the CIS leaders.
