MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – Andrei Vasilevski of Belarus and Israel's Jonathan Erlich went off to a good start at the Mallorca Open doubles event, BelTA has learned.
In the round of Last 18 the Belarusian-Israeli tandem saw off the Spanish duo of Marc Lopez and Jaume Munar 6-2, 6-2.
In Eastborne Egor Gerasimov will face world number 83rd Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France in the opener. Ilya Ivashka will take on world number 1133 Alastair Gray of the UK.
The competitions in Eastborne and Mallorca will be over on 26 June. The world's best tennis players will then travel to London for the Wimbledon which kicks off on 28 June.
