MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian national team claimed one silver and two bronze medals at the Holon 2019 European Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Gymnastics Association.
Konstantin Evstafeev and Hanna Kasyan scored a total of 28,870 points to clinch silver in the Mixed Pair Balance. Russia placed atop with 30,040 points. Artur Beliakou and Volha Melnik placed second in the qualification as well. According to the rules of the competitions however, only one pair can represent each country in the final.
The Women's Group Dynamic bronze went to Belarus' team of Hanna Katsuba, Krystina Lishova and Darya Ivanyutenko (28,590 points). Portugal scored a total of 29,070 points, Belgium – 29,300 points.
Maksim Markevich and Aleh Mikhalevich scored 28,270 points to take bronze in the Men's Pair Dynamic. Russia won the event with 29,160 points. Second was the UK (28,710 points).
The competitions will be over on 3 November.
