MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has issued no complaints to the National Olympic Committee of Belarus, NOC Secretary General Polina Golovina said in an interview the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“During working meetings and his interviews President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach has repeatedly stressed that sports organizations, namely the IOC, National Olympic Committees and other sports federations, must observe the principle of neutrality in all political processes. We support this position. It is important to note that there are no confirmed complaints from the IOC regarding the violations of the Olympic Charter by the National Olympic Committee of Belarus,” Polina Golovina said.
