MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Belarus clinched eight more medals at the First CIS Games in Kazan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry.
Sambo judoka Anastasia Grishchenko claimed gold in the +80kg category. Her teammate Anastasia Skvortsova (72kg) took silver.
Aliaksandr Liasnukhin placed second in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions.
Five bronze medals were collected by sambo judokas: Eduard Kutsko (79kg), Viktoriya Mazhuha (50kg), Anastasiya Padaliachina (59kg), Kseniya Bakumenka (69kg), and Palina Hramotneva (80kg).
So far, Belarus has won six gold, 21 silver and 17 bronze medals. Belarus go fifth in the teams' medal table. The top three are Russia (81-21-29), Uzbekistan (17-26-24), and Azerbaijan (12-9-18).
