MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) - For the first time in the history of the SEHA–Gazprom League a club managed to win three trophies in a row. After 2017 and 2018, FK Vardar from Skopje, North Macedonia made it again on Wednesday, 3 April, in Brest, Belarus, BelTA has learned.
Vardar beat PPD Zagreb 26-23 in the final. Last season the North Macedonian team was also victorious over PPD Zagreb 26-24.
HC Meshkov Brest claimed bronze beating Croatia's Nexe 24-19.
HC Meshkov Brest won the SEHA-Gazprom League silver in 2014 and 2015 and clinched bronze in 2017. FK Vardar won the tournament five times (2012, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019). Hungary's Veszprem KC claimed the victory in 2015 and 2016. PPD Zagreb was victorious in 2013.
