Linz Open: Marozava, Khromacheva lose in doubles semifinal

MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – Lidziya Marozava of Belarus and Russia's Irina Khromacheva lost to Russian duo Natela Dzalamidze and Kamilla Rakhimova 4-6, 2-6 in the Linz Open doubles semifinal, BelTA has learned.

In the opener Lidziya Marozava and Irina Khromacheva saw off India-Netherlands duo Ankita Raina and Rosalie van der Hoek, 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-2). In the quarterfinal Marozava and Khromacheva solved Germany-Czech tandem Julia Lohoff and Renata Voracova, 6-3, 6-4.

Belarus' world number 85 Aliaksandra Sasnovich lost to former world number one Simona Halep of Romania, currently ranked 22, 5-7, 3-6, in round of Last 16.
