Konstantin Koltsov named HC Brest head coach

MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – Belarusian specialist Konstantin Koltsov will coach HC Brest, BelTA learned from the team.

The new head coach of HC Brest made part of HC Dinamo Minsk coaching staff under Canada's Gordie Dwyer.

As a player Konstantin Koltsov was the champion of the Russian Super league and the holder of the Gagarin Cup as part of HC Ak Bars. He played 144 matches with the Pittsburg Penguins at the National Hockey League, scoring 12 goals and producing 26 assists. Konstantin Koltsov took part in nine editions of the IIHF World Championship and two Olympic Games as part of the Belarusian national team.

Konstantin Koltsov signed a contract with HC Brest till the end of the current season. The new head coach is to give a press conference on 24 November.
