MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – Alexander Hleb signed another contract with FC BATE, BelTA has learned from the website of the club.
This will be the 21st season in his professional career which started in Borisov's club in 1999. Alexander Hleb also played for German Stuttgart, English Arsenal, Spanish Barcelona and won top trophies.
Last year, he made 27 appearances for BATE which made him Sergei Aleinikov's Cup leader - the Belarusian player with the highest number of top-level games.
As part of BATE Alexander Hleb played 119 games (8 goals and 18 assists) and six championships.
In the 2019 season, he will play in jersey No.13.
