MINSK, 30 December (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk will play their final match of 2025 in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season on 30 December, BelTA has learned.
The Minsk Bisons will face off against HC Salavat Yulaev Ufa. Dmitri Kvartalnov’s squad arrives in Ufa as the leader of the Western Conference: the Minsk side secured three victories in four home series matches and are now one point ahead of HC Severstal Cherepovets and HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the standings. Currently, HC Dinamo Minsk have 55 points, while the hosts have 18 points fewer and sit in 8th place in the Eastern Conference. After the regular season resumed in mid-December, the Ufa team played six matches, winning three of them, including two against HC Severstal Cherepovets.
In the current season, HC Dinamo Minsk and HC Salavat Yulaev UFA have not yet faced each other. In the previous championship, the teams met twice, with both matches ending in shootouts, with 3-2 for Dinamo in Minsk, and 4-3 for Salavat Yulaev in Ufa. Overall, the Ufa side has been a tough matchup for the Minsk Bisons, with Dinamo securing just 7 wins in their 35 KHL encounters. The Minsk team’s final game of 2025 starts at 5p.m.
