MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk forward Sam Anas has set another historic milestone in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), BelTA has learned.
The 32-year-old American tied one of the most prestigious records in the KHL – for the most points scored in a single regular season. In the final regular season game of 2025/26 against HC Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, Anas scored a brace, bringing his total for the season to 89 points (32 goals, 57 assists) in 68 games. The same number of points was recorded two years ago by Nikita Gusev of HC Dynamo Moscow (23 goals, 66 assists). Earlier, Anas extended his contract with the Minsk club through the end of the 2027/28 season.
In addition, in the game against the Yekaterinburg side, HC Dinamo Minsk defenseman Ty Smith contributed an assist. The Canadian player amassed 46 points (5 goals, 41 assists) and became the Minsk club’s record holder for points in a single regular season among defensemen.
